This is a beautiful, clear b&w photo. of the S-2 locomotive.
I have seen this baby with a few head end cars and passenger cars following, but I have yet to see a photo, b&w, or color, of an S-2 hauling a freight consist.
If, any, actual photo, b&w, or color, of an S-2 freight train exist, then I would like to be able, to purchase same.

superb locos when did the diesels push these fine and powerful machines out as they were built in 1944,so must have had a short working life
