BORN AND RAISED ON CHICAGOS SOUTH SIDE BY THE "LITTLE ENGLEWOOD STATION",..NOW RESIDE IN DOWNERS GROVE ,IL.....OWNER/DESIGNER OF A FIBERGLASS COMPANY(NOW RETIRED),.FATHER WORKED FOR LIONEL PRIOR TO WW2,...HAVE ABOUT 40 STEAM FAN TRIPS TO MY NAME,..LIFE LONG TRAIN/PENNSY FAN,.....NYC SECONDARY,..LIKE SUPER POWER, NOT BIG ON EARLY STEAM,............CURRENTLY BUILDING A LIVE STEAM S2 6200 TURBINE LOCOMOTIVE IN 1.5 SCALE AND 7.5 GAUGE.....

no i dont personally build locomotives the pennysie had the greatest two locos the ti duplex and the turbine loco but the diesels pushed these locos out after a very short working life,just like the railways over here when steam finished in 1968 we too had locos didnt work there full lives out over here as the untried diesels replaced them and they too went to to scrap yard after 10 years although we still have some classic traction working on the network at this moment in time .

I was thinking about building a live steam s2 6200. Have you gotten any where? Any pics?
